It is with pleasure that the Community
United Church of Christ of Lake Park Florida confirmed by a vote of the
council in the fall of 2009 to be known as a congregation that is Open and
Affirming. We at Community UCC have always opened our doors and welcomed all
into our community, persons of every gender, sexual orientation, gender
identity and expression, age, race, nationality, economic and social status,
mental and physical health and ability, faith background, marital standing
and family structure.
At Community UCC our community of faith
encourages all to participate and share their talent and energy in worship
and sacraments, leadership positions, and all functions that they can best
assist all in living in the love and spirit of Jesus Christ.
